Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
WHAT WILL YOU DO
Your main duties and responsibilities are:
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements in compliance with hospitality accounting standards.
- Ensure timely month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Present financial performance to senior management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and key trends.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budget development for the property/organization.
- Prepare accurate rolling forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment with operational goals.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Monitor daily cash flow operations and ensure liquidity for operational needs.
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit policies, and billing activities.
- Optimize working capital and develop strategies for cost savings.
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Maintain strong internal control systems and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
Systems & Process Management
- Oversee the finance systems
- Drive process improvements and automation to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure proper integration of operational systems with finance/reporting tools.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and develop the finance team (Accountants, AR/AP, Cost Controller).
- Provide training on financial policies and hospitality accounting standards.
- Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements in compliance with hospitality accounting standards.
- Ensure timely month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- Minimum 5 7 years of finance experience, ideally in hotels, resorts, or F&B groups.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
Key Performance Indicators
- Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
- Budget vs. actual performance
- Cost control (food cost, labor cost, overheads)
- Cash flow optimization
- Internal audit rating
- Team performance and development
Desired Candidate Profile
