Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop & Enforce Safety Protocols: Create and implement the restaurant's food safety plan (like HACCP) to ensure compliance with all health codes and regulations.
Train Staff: Educate all employees on critical safety practices, including hygiene, temperature control, cross-contamination, and allergen management.
Monitor & Document: Conduct daily checks, log food and equipment temperatures, and maintain records for all safety-related activities.
Maintain Sanitation: Oversee overall cleanliness, manage pest control, and ensure proper chemical use to maintain a hygienic environment.
Lead Incident Response: Manage any foodborne illness complaints, allergen incidents, or product recalls, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
