Position Overview

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of both indoor and outdoor areas, including the garden surroundings, padel court area, pantry, and general facility spaces. The role ensures that all assigned areas are kept clean, hygienic, and well-maintained at all times.

A. Outdoor Cleaning & Garden Area Support

• Sweep and clean the garden paths, walkways, and surrounding outdoor areas.
• Remove leaves, debris, and litter from garden spaces and outdoor seating areas.
• Assist with light garden upkeep (watering plants, removing dry leaves, basic maintenance).
• Ensure gates, outdoor furniture, and common outdoor spaces are clean and presentable.

B. Indoor Cleaning (Padel Area & Pantry)

• Padel Area
• Clean and sanitize the padel court surroundings, seating areas, and reception/waiting zones.
• Ensure trash bins are emptied and area is clutter-free.
• Wipe down glass panels, doors, and equipment as required.
• Pantry Area
• Clean countertops, shelves, and pantry equipment.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in pantry and refreshment areas.
• Ensure supplies are organized and stocked (water, tissues, cleaning materials).
• Wash and sanitize cups, glasses, and utensils when needed.

C. General Cleaning Duties

• Perform regular sweeping, mopping, dusting, and wiping of assigned indoor/outdoor spaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms if assigned (cleaning, replenishing supplies).
• Empty bins and manage waste disposal properly.
• Report any repair needs or maintenance issues to the supervisor/house manager.

D. Hygiene, Safety & Standards

• Follow proper cleaning procedures and use cleaning products safely.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition.
• Ensure all areas meet hygiene and safety standards at all times.
