Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a visionary and decisive General Manager to lead our operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As the General Manager of M venpick Jeddah City Star hotel, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business, ensuring operational excellence, and driving strategic growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to make a significant impact in a dynamic and customer-focused environment.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and maximize profitability
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient processes and superior customer experiences
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team across all departments
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures
- Drive sales and marketing initiatives to increase market share and revenue
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and local authorities
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence throughout the organization
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Manager, preferably in a luxury or premium hospitality setting
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- Proven track record of successfully managing budgets and driving financial performance
- Strong knowledge of rooms, sales & marketing, digital marketing, e-commerce, and food & beverage services
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate a dynamic team
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and implementing performance-driven initiatives
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in analyzing data and generating actionable insights
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian business practices and culture is advantageous
- Eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia
