Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct subsurface investigations to assess soil properties and behavior, ensuring accurate data for design and construction.
  • Lead geotechnical investigations and analyses, ensuring rigorous data collection and interpretation to support engineering decisions.
  • Oversee the design and execution of site-specific geotechnical studies, including slope stability, foundation design, and earth retention systems.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that geotechnical deliverables are met on schedule and within financial constraints.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers and environmental specialists, to integrate geotechnical findings into overall project designs.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures for geotechnical testing and reporting to maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability.
  • Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports and presentations for stakeholders, clearly communicating complex technical information.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international geotechnical standards, regulations, and best practices throughout project lifecycles.
  • Mentor and train junior geotechnical staff, fostering professional development and enhancing team capabilities.

Desired Candidate Profile


  • A Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field, providing a strong foundation in soil mechanics and foundation design.

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in geotechnical engineering, demonstrating a history of successful project management.

  • A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to safety and environmental sustainability in all geotechnical practices.

  • Experience in the construction industry, specifically in large-scale projects, where geotechnical challenges were a primary focus.
