Roles & Responsibilities

Government Relations Executive – Position Overview

The **Government Relations Executive** supports the Government Relations Department in delivering energy-related events. The role focuses on coordinating permits, registrations, diplomatic communication, protocol requirements, and providing on-site support to senior officials and delegates. This position requires strong communication skills, high professionalism, and exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

## **1. Speaker Permit & Government Platform Management**

* Register speakers on **DCT/TAMM** platforms with accurate and timely submissions.
* Manage payment processing for speaker permits and maintain proper documentation.
* Track and follow up on permit statuses with authorities or internal teams.
* Prepare summaries, progress updates, and reports for the Government Relations team.

## **2. VIP Registration & Protocol Coordination**

* Support VIP registrations through the **GES (VISIT)** platform.
* Assist in securing approvals, access badges, and passes for VIPs such as ministers, ambassadors, and senior executives.
* Coordinate with protocol and VIP teams to identify special requirements and ensure adherence to event protocols.

## **3. Embassy, Diplomatic & Government Liaison**

* Assist with communication and coordination with embassies, consulates, and government entities.
* Support diplomatic tasks, including:

  * Ambassador badge collection
  * Handling official invitations
  * Supporting opening-ceremony protocol and escorting delegations
* Represent the organisation professionally in all government-facing interactions.

## **4. On-Site Event Support**

* Support government and VIP operations during live events by:

  * Managing badge handovers for ambassadors and officials
  * Coordinating VIP routing and access
  * Assisting with opening-ceremony protocol
  * Handling embassy queries and coordination
* Work closely with the Government Relations team to ensure seamless protocol execution.

## **5. ADNOC & VIP Desk Support (ADIPEC)**

* Provide assistance at the ADNOC registration desk, including delegate verification, badge printing, and inquiries.
* Maintain a high level of professionalism when engaging with VIPs and senior ADNOC delegates.

# **Skills & Qualifications**

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confident interacting with senior officials and diplomatic representatives.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks, tight deadlines, and time-sensitive requirements.
* Experience with government or event registration platforms (training can be provided).
* A proactive attitude and strong teamwork capabilities.

* Must be available to support multiple international events annually.
