About the role:

• Lead the identification, design and deployment of AI use cases across business functions, owning the full journey from concept to production
• Define and own the architecture across AI/ML, GenAI and automation systems at enterprise scale
• Build, lead and scale a cross-functional AI engineering team, setting the standard for how the function operates and delivers
• Establish MLOps frameworks, deployment standards and governance practices that ensure AI systems are reliable, secure and maintainable
• Partner with product and business stakeholders across the Group to drive adoption, measure ROI and ensure AI initiatives deliver tangible commercial value
• Act as the senior technical voice on AI across the organisation, influencing decisions at Group leadership level

About you:

• 10 to 15 years or more of experience in engineering, AI or large-scale technology delivery, with a clear track record of deploying AI and ML systems into production at enterprise scale
• Strong hands-on understanding of LLMs, orchestration frameworks, MLOps and modern AI architecture patterns
• Solid experience across cloud platforms including AWS, Azure or GCP, alongside APIs and data pipeline design
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and engage senior stakeholders with equal confidence and credibility
• Commercially minded, with the ability to connect technical decisions to business outcomes and articulate value clearly
• Industry background is open, but experience within complex, multi-business-unit organisations is a strong advantage
• Based in the UAE or willing to relocate
