Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Head of Business Development will lead and execute the company s growth strategy across the UAE and KSA markets. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong commercial acumen, regional market insight, and proven experience in building partnerships and expanding market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development and market expansion strategy for the UAE and KSA.
  • Build, manage, and maintain a strong and qualified sales pipeline to ensure sustainable long-term growth.
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with senior government officials, regulators, developers, and corporate partners to enhance RMJM s market position.
  • Contribute to the preparation of business cases, proposals, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide regular pipeline forecasts, performance reporting, and market intelligence updates to the CEO.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, design, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment between commercial strategy and delivery capability.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments, providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Represent RMJM at industry events, conferences, and networking platforms across the GCC.
  • Identify and highlight companies in the UAE and KSA that require prequalification.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in a related Technical or Business Administration function.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in business development, commercial strategy, or sales leadership within the GCC.
  • Experience within architecture, design, or built environment sectors is preferred.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and securing large-scale partnerships in the UAE and KSA.
  • Strong understanding of regional business practices, legal frameworks, and cultural nuances.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic required
