Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the English department, fostering a collaborative and innovative learning environment for both students and teachers.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive English curriculum aligned with UAE educational standards, ensuring its relevance and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the assessment process, including standardized tests and internal evaluations, to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers, promoting best practices in English language instruction.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Master's degree in English, Education, or a related field, demonstrating a strong academic foundation.
  • Holds a recognized teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or equivalent, showcasing a commitment to professional teaching standards.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience teaching English in a school setting, exhibiting proven classroom expertise.
  • Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within an English department, evidencing leadership capabilities.
