Job Title: Digitalization Sales Head – Middle East
Location: Dubai, UAE (or other relevant Middle East hub)
Department: Sales / Business Development
Reports To: Regional Managing Director / VP Sales – EMEA
Desired Candidate Profile
- Position Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Digitalization Sales Head to lead and grow our digital transformation business across the Middle East region. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, building strategic partnerships, and leading go-to-market strategies for digital solutions, including Industrial IoT, AI/ML, cloud platforms, digital twins, automation, and analytics.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the digitalization sales strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure across diverse industries.
- Drive revenue growth through direct sales and strategic partnerships.
- Business Development
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, technology partners, and system integrators.
- Leverage market trends to propose tailored digitalization solutions for clients in sectors such as oil & gas, utilities, manufacturing, infrastructure,and logistics.
- Solution & Offering Management
- Collaborate with technical and product teams to align solutions with customer needs and industry challenges.
- Promote digital portfolios including SaaS, IoT platforms, AI-driven analytics, cloud solutions, and digital consulting services.
- Customer Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, fostering long-term relationships.
- Present and articulate complex digital solutions in a business-oriented manner.
- Forecasting & Reporting
- Track KPIs, provide accurate forecasts, and report performance to senior leadership.
- Manage budgets, pricing, and pipeline development.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 20+ years of experience in sales and business development, with at least 10 years in digital transformation or industrial digitalization.
- Proven success in selling digital solutions (IoT, AI, cloud, analytics, digital twins).
- Experience in the Middle East market with strong industry networks.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong plus.
- Preferred Experience:
- Background in industrial sectors such as BFSI, energy, oil & gas, utilities, or manufacturing.
- Understanding of digitalization trends such as Industry 4.0, smart infrastructure, and cloud migration.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Azure, AWS, Siemens MindSphere, AVEVA, PTC, or similar.
