Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Planning:
Ensure that the needs of all activation markets are mapped and incorporated into lead mkt workstreams. Own quality of lead mkt output vs activation mkt needs.
Lead S&CM ABP/Fast Start / Business review process for the cluster of markets. Ensure that the process is robust and accurate, guarantee focus on areas and commonality and drive synergy. Identify and communicate key commercial pressure points.
S&OP: Provide support to CU s as needed. Ensure that process is robust and accurate for all markets in the cluster. Identify key forecasting supply issues and all cluster markets.
Lead S&CM base business and innovation planning. Ensure that the assortment strategy is built based on Shopper occasions and retail environment (must win channels) understanding. Guarantees that innovation 'package' is delivered in full to all relevant activation markets

Commercial operations:
POSM: Work with Activation Markets to ensure that all POSM design needs are met and delivered with commercial and brand objectives in mind.
PICOS: Drive synergy. Ensure that all Regional PICOS are customized for all markets in the cluster. Work with EM S&CM on developing PICOS within customer based on annual plan. Work with activation markets on commercial plans to 'activate' PICOS in each market.
Pricing: Ensure that there are comprehensive pricing guidelines per RE defined and deployed for all markets in the cluster
Promo: Ensure that there is a holistic and comprehensive Promotion Menu by Retail Environment and Category including guidelines and designs for all markets in the cluster. Ensure that full pre/post promotion analysis is being actioned in line with company guidelines.
Insights: Leads a single source of insight generation for the cluster. Including collecting insights from activation markets, converting into actionable insights and communicating to all markets in the cluster. Take data analysis to the next level so that the company becomes even more inside driven for defining right commercial strategies

Customer Engagement: Direct & Indirect:
Presentations: Ensure that Customer Category Presentations (Innovation, Category, JBP, T2T) are complete for all key customers in the cluster. Guarantee that 4P Category Selling stories by Retail Environment are delivered for the cluster.
Engagement: Work with activation markets to map all JBP/ T2T customers and ensure quality contact for presentations - leveraging regional playbook. Define all key customer programs for the cluster: CSR, AVC, Active Accounts etc. Ensure quality of output.
Performance Management: Have full understanding of Category performance by Channel & Customer across the cluster. Work with CU Heads to address identified issues and opportunities

Leadership & People Management:
Develop a high performance S&CM team via:
Active role in identification and development of internal talent and recruitment of external talent to ensure that we have the right level of capability in place across the cluster in all key positions.
Coach and train S&CM teams, via formal training and informal working sessions across all the cluster.
Lead Cluster Meetings to communicate and deliver key workstreams and build a positive learning environment focused personal & professional growth.
Live and communicate core values in day to day behavior and actions.
Build and maintain an active S&CM Community that facilitates fast learning and best practice sharing and implementation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • At least 10 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, or Shopper Marketing
  • In depth knowledge of pharmacy, modern trade and multichannel experience preferred
  • Proven experiences of matching brand strategies and channel strategies, and translating it into execution
  • Strong commercial skills - Customer & shopper-centric thinking
  • Strong Financial Analysis skills required
  • Very collaborative mature leadership style & strong leadership skills (experienced in leading teams and/or cross-functional teams)
  • Pragmatic, Dynamic, results-oriented individual with a "hands on" style
  • Able to adapt, navigate and have a protagonist role in a fast paced, high-growth, changing environment
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team player
