Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they enter.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, minimizing wait times while ensuring accuracy in guest information.
- Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations with precision, utilizing the hotel's property management system effectively.
- Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer service and problem resolution.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready and any issues are addressed swiftly.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions, ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- Provide local information and recommendations, acting as a knowledgeable resource for guests seeking to explore the area.
- Assist in managing the hotel’s occupancy levels, optimizing room availability and maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Stay updated on hotel policies, promotions, and events to effectively communicate offerings and enhance the guest experience.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is a plus, showcasing foundational knowledge in hospitality.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry, demonstrating hands-on expertise.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite, enabling efficient operation and communication.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, reflecting the demands of the hospitality industry.
- Problem-solving skills to address guest issues effectively, showing initiative and resourcefulness under pressure.
- Positive attitude and a passion for hospitality, reflecting a genuine desire to provide memorable guest experiences.
