Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of the school.
- Review and manage the School s staffing plan with the academic directors and its costs with the stakeholders.
- Lead the job analysis project and work with stakeholders to review job descriptions and the School s staffing structure.
- Identify and implement sourcing strategies that will attract talent to open positions and create a pipeline at all levels. Should be able drive high volume recruitment within stringent timelines.
- Support the school s employer branding efforts to attract and retain high-caliber educators and staff.
- Enhance and manage the new hire orientation and induction programs to ensure seamless integration of new employees, focusing on company culture, values, policies, and initial role-specific training.
- Design & organize training and development programs for staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Create and update Job Descriptions (JDs) for all positions in accordance with school standards.
- Create and maintain an effective staff performance appraisal system to encourage professional growth and development.
- Provide guidance to management on HR policies, performance improvements, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Oversee monthly performance metrics (e.g., hiring numbers, exit interview outcomes).
- Ensure policies and procedures are consistently applied and updated as necessary.
- Manage staff issues and legal HR matters as and when necessary.
- Supervise the full human resources day-to-day operations.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR legislation.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree.
- Master's degree (MBA in HR).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as HR manager.
- Proven experience in national schools is a must. (International schools is a plus).
- Proven experience in change management, And cultural transformation.
- Experience in handling headcounts of 500+.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace environment.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
