Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Mass production plant Line HR manager Role
- Ensure and manage shift-wise manpower requirements for smooth operations, including contract manpower.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment by addressing employee concerns in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with line managers to align HR practices with operational needs and enhance workforce performance.
- Ensure welfare benefits are effectively delivered to employees and continuously improved.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the plant.
- Enforce disciplinary procedures in accordance with legal and company guidelines.
- Support the resolution of employee grievances and maintain a grievance tracker.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of automation and digitalization initiatives within HR functions (like including attendance, leave management, payroll, vehicle requests, etc.)
- Benchmark best practices from AL India and other industries for cross-implementation.
- Provide support for payroll processing and SAP-related activities.
- Facilitate effective manpower recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Coordinate skill development, induction, and training programs.
- Maintain operational strategic HR Pillar documentation and compliance.
- Ensure closure of action points from employee surveys.
- Cost control projects and effective budgeting
Desired Candidate Profile
- HR Expertise: Strong knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, HR operations, compliance, and welfare practices.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead HR initiatives, manage teams, and collaborate effectively with plant leadership and line managers.
-Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to handle employee grievances, drive engagement, and maintain a positive work culture.
-Tech Savvy: Experience in HR automation, digitalization, and working with HRMS/SAP systems.
-Problem Solving: Ability to address workforce challenges proactively and implement practical solutions.
-Process Orientation: Strong focus on process improvement, policy implementation, and compliance tracking.
-Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment with diverse workforce needs.
