Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging HSE training programs tailored to various job roles and levels within the organization, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of training needs by collaborating with stakeholders, identifying gaps in HSE knowledge and skills.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and on-the-job observations to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
  • Stay updated on the latest HSE regulations, standards, and best practices, translating this knowledge into practical training modules for staff.
  • Facilitate hands-on simulations and drills that prepare employees for real-world scenarios, enhancing their ability to respond to emergencies effectively.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to employees, fostering a culture of safety and encouraging proactive participation in HSE initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated safety solutions and promote a holistic approach to workplace safety.
  • Champion a continuous improvement mindset by analyzing incident reports and safety data to inform future training content and strategies.
  • Promote a positive safety culture by engaging employees through workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns that emphasize the importance of HSE.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline,
  • Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent, in addition to first aid training certificate
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of UAE/GCC experience in HSE training, showcasing a proven track record of effective training delivery in various settings.
  • Experience within oil & gas, or manufacturing industries will be a plus.
  • Proficiency in English & Urdu/HINDI with strong communication skills; additional languages are a plus, enhancing the ability to reach diverse employee groups.
  • Strong technical skills in using HSE training software and tools, enabling the delivery of interactive and impactful training sessions.
