Job Description

The Human Resource Officer plays a pivotal role in managing an organization's human resources operations, providing support in various HR functions, including recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring, and employee welfare. As a Human Resource Officer, you will be responsible for managing employee records, ensuring the smooth execution of HR policies and procedures, and promoting healthy workplace ethics and culture. Your responsibilities will encompass administrative tasks that help facilitate the daily operations of the HR department. You will also be involved in the formulation and implementation of strategies that align the HR goals with the overall objectives of the organization. The role requires a deep understanding of labor laws and regulations, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to human resource management.


Responsibilities
  • Manage and update employee records ensuring their accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate and assist in the recruitment and hiring process for the organization.
  • Develop and facilitate training programs to enhance employee development.
  • Implement HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Support performance review processes to ensure employee performance is monitored effectively.
  • Address employee queries regarding HR-related matters and provide guidance as needed.
  • Handle employee relations issues and mediate conflicts to promote a harmonious workplace.
  • Assist in the implementation of employee welfare programs to boost morale.
  • Maintain an understanding of labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and present them to senior management for review.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to improve retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align HR strategies with organizational goals.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR officer or in a similar human resource position.
  • Strong knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential for success.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle conflicts.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite is highly desirable.
