Job Description

A Human Resources Officer plays a critical role in fostering a productive and harmonious workplace by managing the company's human resources activities. This position involves implementing HR policies, facilitating communication between staff and management, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Human Resources Officers are responsible for recruiting and onboarding new employees, managing employee records, and providing support in performance management and employee relations. They serve as a vital link between an organization's strategic goals and the workforce. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, as the HR Officer must balance the needs of the employees with the goals of the organization. This position also demands a deep understanding of human resources practices, employment law, and ethical guidelines, ensuring the organization adheres to industry standards and legislation.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals.
  • Facilitate recruitment processes, including advertising, interviewing, and applicant selection.
  • Manage onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new employees.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Administer employee compensation and benefits programs with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct training and development programs to enhance workforce skills and abilities.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in all HR activities.
  • Provide guidance and support in handling employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and address workforce needs and challenges.
  • Monitor and report on HR metrics to facilitate informed decision-making by leadership.
  • Organize team-building activities to foster a collaborative workplace environment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR officer or similar HR administrative role.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and statutory HR compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with diverse groups.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and relevant HR-related software.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
