Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Manages the services and activities for the assigned portfolio, provides supervision, coaching, guidance and technical training to the staff assigned and allocates work as appropriate.

Supervises the various functions for the assigned portfolio including, but not limited to, the appointment records of new staff, including, temporary assistants, and other temporary staff such as casual laborers, Limited Duration Contracts and Individual Service Providers (ISPs), all types of leaves, dependency and other allowances, staff retirements and separations, ensures compliance with the Agency s rules, regulations, policies and directives.

Oversees or provides support, as assigned, for operations of the Group Medical Insurance (GMI).

Checks and signs, as authorized, Personnel Action Forms, other forms, documents and correspondence related to the entitlements and/or movements and records; reviews and approves the transactions on the Human Resources Management (HRM) as related to entitlements and/or movements and records including payroll elements separation benefits, provident fund and GMI as applicable.

Manages the preparation of statistical and other HR reports related to the functions for the assigned portfolio.

Relieves the other HR Officer in the Human Resources Services Division, as applicable, during his/her absence.

Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile

You are required to have five years of relevant experience in human resource management in an international, governmental or commercial organization, including three years of experience at a supervisory level.

You are required to have excellent knowledge of the MS Office applications, Internet and office technology equipment

You are required to have a university degree from an accredited educational institution in human resource management, business, or public administration or related discipline

Are you currently residing in Duty Station. It is required that you specify your current location.
