Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Sofitel Riyadh is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hygiene Officer to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our luxurious establishment. The Hygiene Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff by implementing and monitoring hygiene practices and standards in accordance with local and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement hygiene policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with hygiene standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular hygiene inspections and audits of all areas, including kitchens, restaurants, guest rooms, and public areas.
  • Ensure all hygiene practices meet the standards of local health authorities and international best practices.
  • food safety and hygiene practices in all food and beverage outlets.
  • Ensure proper sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
  • Oversee pest control measures and liaise with pest control services.
  • Prepare and submit hygiene reports to the management team.
  • Document and follow up on corrective actions for any hygiene-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Health & Safety team to address any hygiene-related hazards or risks.
  • Participate in health and safety committee meetings and initiatives.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the property.
