The role is responsible for leading the internal audit function, ensuring robust governance, effective internal controls, and sound risk management practices. The position develops and executes a risk-based annual audit plan aligned with strategic objectives, while overseeing comprehensive audits across departments. Key duties include evaluating internal processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and reporting audit findings with actionable recommendations to both executive management and the audit committee. This role also entails mentoring a team of auditors, promoting professional development, and acting as an advisor on governance and compliance issues.
