Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Banque du Liban (BDL) regulations and reporting requirements
- Evaluate AML/CFT compliance and internal policies
- Assess internal controls, risk management, and fraud prevention measures
- Audit financial operations, transactions, and reconciliations
- Review IT systems, data protection, and cybersecurity practices
- Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements
- Prepare audit reports and highlight discrepancies
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in accounting, Auditing, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit (preferably fintech or financial sector)
- Strong knowledge of compliance, risk management, and internal controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in fintech or digital wallets is a plus
