Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Expand export business for agro commodities in Saudi Arabia, Africa, and GCC countries

  • Identify and onboard importers, wholesalers, distributors, and bulk buyers

  • Leverage existing relationships to generate immediate business opportunities

  • Develop long-term strategic partnerships in target markets

2. Product Sales & Trading

  • Handle sales and trading of:

    • Basmati Rice

    • IR64 Parboiled Rice

    • Indian Sugar

    • Green Lentils

    • Indian Onion

    • Indian Chilli

    • Other fresh fruits and vegetables

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements

  • Achieve aggressive monthly and yearly sales targets

3. Market Knowledge & Pricing

  • Track real-time market prices, demand trends, and competitor activity

  • Advise management on pricing strategies and market entry decisions

  • Understand seasonal demand cycles and supply chain dynamics

4. Client Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with key buyers

  • Ensure repeat business and long-term contracts

  • Handle negotiations, disputes, and client servicing professionally

5. Execution & Coordination

  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for smooth order execution

  • Ensure timely shipment and delivery

  • Handle export documentation and compliance requirements

6. Reporting & Accountability

  • Maintain sales pipeline and forecast

  • Report performance, deals closed, and market feedback regularly

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience Requirements (Mandatory)

  • Minimum 5–10 years of proven experience in agro commodity trading/export

  • Strong hands-on experience in Saudi Arabia, Africa, and GCC markets

  • Proven track record in selling rice, sugar, pulses, and fresh produce

  • Existing network of importers, distributors, and wholesale buyers

  • Ability to independently generate business and close deals
