Inventory Controller

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor inventory across all business units
• Develop and implement standardized inventory policies and procedures
• Ensure accurate stock accounting, reconciliation, and reporting
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels
• Analyze inventory trends and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock
• Highlight zero/low movement items and take corrective actions
• Conduct periodic stock audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Prepare inventory reports for management and stakeholders
• Drive cost control initiatives and minimize inventory discrepancies
• Oversee ERP inventory modules and ensure effective system utilization
• Support inventory budgeting and forecasting

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role at Head Office level
• Mandatory experience working within a Group of Companies structure
• Prior experience in India is required
• Strong exposure to trading businesses (MEP, building materials, food/meat preferred)
• Solid understanding of multi-entity inventory management
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
