Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and uptime.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems annually.
  • Manage and administer email, virtual servers, and cloud services proficiently.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard information and systems effectively.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and contribute to IT policies.
  • Provide technical support to end-users resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Conduct regular backups and recovery operations to prevent data loss.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and organizational policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to improve system processes and performance.
  • Analyze and resolve problems related to network infrastructure and systems.
  • Train staff and users to enhance technical knowledge and efficiency.
  • Participate in technological planning and development processes actively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT administration or similar technical roles.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, security, and system management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and end-users.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and virtualization technologies is preferred.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, A+, or Microsoft Certified are an advantage.
