Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Respond to first and second-level requests and issues related to workstation hardware and software, network connectivity, and audio, video, and web conferencing systems.
Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems.
Implement and monitor security measures, certificates, and company compliance with requirements.
Onboards new employees, creates accounts, and configures hardware and software for those employees, assists in the training and orientation of new staff in the use of hardware and software.
Actively responds to Service Desk tickets, incoming calls, and/or emails, and escalates end user help requests within established Service Level Agreements.
Accurately documents instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal by recording service desk problem-solving responses.
Basic administration of software and service licensing, including SaaS applications, O365, Teams, Jira, Google Workspace, Jira/Confluence, Zoom, and Slack.
Procure and deploy Windows workstations.
Support and maintain LAN/WiFi, MDM, EDR, and other related technologies to secure IT assets and perform hardware and software system configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
Set up and support AV for conference rooms and high-profile presentations. Familiarity with audio mixers, microphones, camera management, and configuring meeting and webinar settings.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or IT operations.
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, hardware setup, and troubleshooting.
Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and ticketing systems such as Jira, Confluence, Zoom, and Slack administration.
Familiarity with networking fundamentals (LAN/WiFi, routers, switches, VPNs) and endpoint management tools (MDM, EDR).
Understanding of IT security practices, certificates, and compliance requirements.
Experience supporting audio-visual systems for meetings, webinars, and live events.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Fluency in English is a must.
