Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Title: IT Support Technician

Location: Choueifat, Lebanon

Schedule: Monday Friday, 08:00 AM 05:00 PM (1-hour break)

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair and troubleshoot desktops/laptops and all network peripherals.
  • Support Active Directory/Domain Controller tasks: setup, joining devices, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, and basic network topology.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and trace CCTV systems (IP and coaxial).
  • Install required software and provide user support and guidance.
  • Install and troubleshoot printers/scanners; handle basic repair when needed.
  • Monitor systems for disconnections and support related IT projects.
  • Track IT inventory and follow up on department requirements (equipment, consumables, tools).

Requirements / Skills

  • Practical experience in IT support (hardware + software).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of Windows environments, Active Directory, and basic networking.
  • Familiarity with CCTV installation/support (IP/coaxial) is a plus.
  • Good communication and user support skills.

Task List for IT Support (Daily/Weekly)

Daily

  • Check user support tickets/issues and resolve or escalate.
  • Monitor network/system connectivity and address disconnections.
  • Verify printers/scanners and key shared peripherals are operational.

Weekly

  • Review Domain Controller/AD health basics (join issues, login issues).
  • Validate DHCP/DNS basic operation (IP conflicts, name resolution).
  • Inspect CCTV status for offline cameras and trace issues.
  • Update inventory list and report missing/needed items.

Desired Candidate Profile

Practical experience in IT support (hardware + software).

Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.

Knowledge of Windows environments, Active Directory, and basic networking.

Familiarity with CCTV installation/support (IP/coaxial) is a plus.

Good communication and user support skills.
