Roles & Responsibilities

Minimum 3–5 years' experience in Italian cuisine. Ability to prepare all types of pasta, sauces, pizza dough, and Italian appetizers. Knowledge of Italian herbs, cheeses, spices, and traditional flavors. Excellent knife skills and cooking techniques. Strong multitasking and time-management abilities. Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.

Experience Required: 2–15 years (Gulf experience is a must).

Location: Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

Salary: AED 1,500 – 2,000 all-inclusive.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Food Preparation & Cooking Prepare and cook classic Italian dishes such as pasta, risotto, lasagna, pizza, sauces, soups, and antipasti. Mastery in making fresh pasta, dough, and signature Italian sauces (Alfredo, Arrabbiata, Bolognese, Pesto, Marinara). Maintain portion control and consistent taste for every dish. Innovate new Italian-inspired dishes when required. 2. Quality & Presentation Ensure every dish is plated beautifully following Italian culinary standards. Use fresh herbs, olive oil, cheeses, and high-quality ingredients for authenticity. Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. 3. Kitchen Operations Organize mise en place (ingredients ready before service). Coordinate with other chefs to ensure smooth service during busy hours. Monitor inventory and request fresh Italian ingredients (mozzarella, parmesan, tomatoes, olive oil, pasta, etc.). Control food waste and optimize cost efficiency. 4. Food Safety & Hygiene Follow HACCP and UAE food safety regulations. Ensure proper storage of ingredients, refrigeration, and shelf-life management. Keep kitchen equipment clean and sanitized. 5. Teamwork & Communication Train junior chefs on Italian cooking techniques. Work closely with barista/waitstaff to ensure order accuracy. Communicate effectively during rush hours to maintain smooth operations. 6. Innovation & Menu Development Help create new Italian menu items (pasta specials, chef-signature dishes). Stay updated on modern Italian cuisine trends. Suggest seasonal or festive Italian dishes.
