Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Device enrollment: Configuring and managing the process for corporate-owned and bring-your-own-device (BYOD) devices to be enrolled into Intune.

  • Compliance policies: Creating and enforcing policies to ensure devices meet organizational security standards before they can access corporate resources.

  • Configuration profiles: Using configuration profiles to standardize settings, Wi-Fi connections, and certificates across devices.

  • Application lifecycle management: Managing the deployment, updates, and retirement of applications on managed endpoints.

  • Security management: Integrating Intune with other Microsoft security tools like Defender for Endpoint and Conditional Access to enforce a Zero Trust security model.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving issues related to policy syncing, enrollment, application deployment, and device connectivity.

  • Monitoring and reporting: Using Intune's reporting and analytics features to gain insights into device health, compliance, and overall endpoint security posture.

  • ITSM integration: Connecting Intune with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms like ServiceNow. This allows for automated synchronization of device and software information, enriching a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and improving incident and asset management. 

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

·        Minimum of 5-8 years of dedicated, hands-on experience in the administration, configuration, and optimization of the SolarWinds monitoring suite in an enterprise environment.

·        Demonstrable expert-level technical knowledge in Intune.

  • Solid understanding of ITIL framework concepts (Incident, Problem, Change, Event Management).

  • Professional certification(s) are highly desirable.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
