Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with established deadlines.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately, identifying discrepancies as they arise.
- Support the accounts payable process by processing invoices and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation, facilitating easy retrieval and audit readiness.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required to ensure a solid understanding of accounting principles.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a corporate accounting environment, to demonstrate practical application of skills.
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA, or a commitment to obtaining them, to enhance credibility and career growth.
- Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks or Xero, as well as advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
