A confidential company in Fiyadiyeh is hiring a Junior Accountant


Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

* Receive, review, and process supplier invoices and payment requests.

* Verify accuracy of invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and delivery notes.

* Prepare payment vouchers and ensure timely settlement of supplier accounts.

* Maintain an updated vendor ledger and reconcile supplier statements regularly.

* Assist in month-end closing by ensuring all payables are recorded accurately.

Petty Cash Management

* Manage the company's petty cash safe and ensure funds are available for daily operational needs.

* Disburse petty cash payments in line with company policy and obtain necessary approvals.

* Record all petty cash transactions accurately and maintain supporting documentation.

* Perform regular petty cash reconciliations and report discrepancies immediately.

* Ensure safe custody of cash and strict adherence to financial controls.

General Accounting Support

* Assist in the preparation of journals, reconciliations, and financial reports.

* Support audits by providing required documentation and schedules.

* Maintain proper filing and archiving of all financial documents.

* Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by the Senior Accountant/Finance Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

* 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable or cash handling.

* Basic knowledge of accounting principles and ERP/accounting software.

* Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

* Good organizational and time management skills.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
