Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily cleaning operations, ensuring adherence to schedules and standards, including spot checks.
  • Supervise and guide cleaning staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Manage inventory and order cleaning supplies, equipment, and other necessary items, keeping within budget.
  • Conduct regular inspections of cleaning work, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring quality control.
  • Address and resolve any cleaning-related complaints or concerns from clients or staff, maintaining satisfaction.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Coordinate and schedule cleaning staff assignments, managing shifts and ensuring adequate coverage.
  • Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, inventory, and staff performance, for reporting purposes.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new cleaning staff, participating in interviews and orientations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and management, providing updates and addressing any special requests.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
  • Relevant certifications in cleaning or sanitation (e.g., CIMS) are a plus, showing commitment to the industry.
  • Proven experience in the cleaning industry, preferably in a supervisory role, indicating practical knowledge.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a cleaning or related role, showcasing familiarity with the field.
  • No nationality preference, welcoming diverse candidates with relevant skills and experience.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken) is essential, ensuring clear communication.
  • Proficiency in using basic cleaning equipment and chemicals, demonstrating technical competence.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, enabling effective task prioritization and execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and collaboration.
  • Physically fit and able to perform the duties of the job, including lifting and moving equipment.
  • Possess a proactive attitude, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to learn and improve.
