Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation of ELV systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications, drawings, and local regulations, to guarantee quality and compliance.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution, including scheduling, material procurement, and site logistics.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and delays to ensure timely project completion.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and as-built drawings, for accurate record-keeping and communication.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to verify the proper installation and functionality of ELV systems, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets, track expenses, and manage cost control measures to maintain financial viability.
- Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions to ensure effective problem-solving.
- Participate in project meetings, communicate project status to stakeholders, and address any concerns or clarifications promptly and professionally.
- Assist in the commissioning and testing of ELV systems, verifying their performance and functionality before project handover.
- Stay updated with the latest ELV technologies, industry trends, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field to establish a strong technical foundation.
- Displays strong technical skills, including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, to support project execution.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibits proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project or similar tools, to aid in project planning and tracking.
- Has a strong understanding of safety regulations and quality control procedures, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
- Has 1-3 years of experience in the ELV systems industry, showcasing practical application of theoretical knowledge.
- Demonstrates experience working on projects in the construction or building services sectors, indicating familiarity with project environments.
- Exhibits proficiency in ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and structured cabling, to show system-specific expertise.
