Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary The Junior Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies to drive sell-in, sell-through, and sell-out across FMCG channels. The role acts as a key link between Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure strong in-store execution, optimal promotions, and sustainable category growth. Key Responsibilities

Trade Strategy & Planning • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies aligned with brand and sales objectives • Create channel-specific plans for Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Wholesalers, and


Convenience Stores • Manage the trade marketing budget and ensure effective utilization with strong ROI • Support annual business planning and category growth initiatives

Promotions & Trade Schemes • Design and execute trade promotions, discounts, and incentive schemes • Plan and manage consumer and trade offers to increase off-take and distribution • Lead new product launches (NPDs) at trade level, ensuring strong market penetration • Monitor promotion performance and recommend corrective actions In-Store Execution & Merchandising • Ensure strong product availability, visibility, and pricing compliance in stores • Develop and implement planograms, POS materials, displays, and shelving standards • Drive execution of seasonal, tactical, and brand-led activations • Conduct regular market audits to evaluate execution quality

Channel & Customer Management • Work closely with Sales and Key Account teams to support customer-specific initiatives • Customize trade programs based on channel dynamics and shopper behavior • Build strong relationships with distributors and retailers to enhance execution

Market Intelligence & Analysis • Analyze sales data, distribution, pricing, and promotion effectiveness • Track competitor activities, pricing strategies, and in-store execution • Identify market trends and growth opportunities through shopper and trade insights

Cross-Functional Collaboration • Coordinate with Brand Marketing to ensure consistency in communication and execution • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Demand Planning to improve forecast accuracy • Work with Finance on promotion budgeting, accruals, and claims management

Reporting & KPI Management • Prepare regular trade marketing performance reports and dashboards • Track KPIs such as distribution, availability, visibility, promo ROI, and market share • Recommend continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Qualifications & Skills

Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field

Experience: • 3 -4 years of experience in Trade Marketing within FMCG

Key Skills: • Strong understanding of FMCG channels and trade dynamics • Excellent analytical and budgeting skills • Strong coordination and stakeholder management abilities • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools Reporting Line • Reports to: Trade Marketing Manager and Director sales and Marketing

Language - Should speak Arabic
