Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring, ensuring all items are ready for the cooking process, thereby streamlining kitchen operations.
- Assist chefs with food plating and presentation, paying close attention to detail to enhance the visual appeal of dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, including dishwashing, surface cleaning, and waste disposal, to uphold hygiene standards.
- Receive and store food deliveries, organizing inventory and rotating stock to prevent spoilage and ensure freshness.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, providing a foundational level of education.
- Demonstrates basic food safety certification, showing a commitment to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Has experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting, indicating familiarity with the industry.
- Offers at least 6 months of experience in a kitchen environment, showcasing practical knowledge.
