Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior chefs to develop new menu items and refine existing recipes, showcasing culinary creativity.
- Effectively manage food inventory, minimizing waste and ensuring ingredients are used efficiently while adhering to all food safety standards.
- Assist in training junior kitchen staff, sharing culinary knowledge and best practices to foster a collaborative environment.
- Strictly adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring the kitchen meets the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Monitor food preparation to ensure portion control, presentation standards, and timely delivery of dishes.
- Contribute to cost control by minimizing waste, properly storing ingredients, and utilizing resources efficiently.
- Adapt to changing menus and special requests, demonstrating flexibility and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in daily briefings and communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and efficient operations.
- Master the preparation and execution of specific dishes, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to recipes under the Chef's guidance.
