L1 Network & Security Engineer Jumbo Electronic Co. Ltd ( LLC )

The L1 Network & Security Engineer provides first-line deployment and technical support for enterprise connectivity and protection. This role focuses on the physical installation, initial configuration, and comprehensive documentation of network infrastructure.

Network Deployment & Configuration

• Hardware: Racking, stacking, and configuring L2/L3 switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure.

• Core Tasks: Implementing VLAN design, Inter-VLAN routing, static routing, and basic OSPF.

• Advanced Connectivity: Managing Wireless Controllers/APs, WAN circuit integration, and SD-WAN edge device deployment.

Security Implementation

• Firewall Management: Professional installation and initial configuration of Cisco, Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls.

• Policy & Routing: Setting up Interface Zoning, routing, NAT, and security policy configuration.

• VPN & Redundancy: Deploying IPSec (Site-to-Site) and SSL VPNs, alongside High-Availability (Active/Passive) basic setups.

Technology Stack

• Firewalls: Fortinet FortiGate, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks.

• Switching/Wireless: Cisco, HP Aruba, and Huawei (Preferred).

Documentation & Handover

·       As-Built Diagrams: Creation of detailed physical and logical network maps using Microsoft Visio.

·       Handover Packs: Developing comprehensive documentation for operational transition, including IP schemes and configuration backups.

• Transition: Developing professional Handover documentation for a seamless shift to operations teams.
