Roles & Responsibilities

In this role, you will help bring the 5-year strategic vision into multi-year road maps across our business in close partnership with the other teams. The multi-year roadmaps are decomposed into annual improvements in partnership with Management to prioritize, schedule and deliver developments and capabilities. As the strategic leader of Commercial Operations, you will have the ability to operate effectively at executive and technical levels to explain the relative business objectives that are aligned to customer experience.

Educational and Technical Qualifications:
  • MBA highly desired, or advanced university degree. Bachelors degree required.

  • Achieved planned financial results at an organizational level.

  • Acted as a senior executive in a global company responsible for operational efficiency.

  • Exercised leadership on external business or industry boards.

  • Strategic Planning & Implementation: Orchestrates the development of strategic plans that reflects the company's business strategy to advance market share/penetration and achieve profitable growth.

  • Budget Management & Cost Optimization: Establishes tracks and enforces spending parameters to protect the company's business and assets, and ensures their effective engagement.

  • P&L Management: Sets and manages the business investments and resource allocations essential to ensuring the financial growth & health of the corporation.

  • Vertical Industry Acumen: Develops and exercises a profound understanding of business dynamics within area of control, as a basis for informed business decision making.

  • Workforce Planning: Builds acquisition and development strategies targeted to ensuring workforce readiness, and market opportunity responsiveness.

  • Execution Management: Collaborates effectively with the company's BUs and value chain partners to ensure operational responsiveness to challenges, and alignment with business imperatives

Years of Experience:
  • 12+ years total experience. Often 10+ years post-advanced degree experience leading highly visible deals and the company's financial improvement initiatives in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or market research.

Nature of Experience:
  • Management consulting experience highly desired.

  • Prior corporate leadership.

Commercial

  • Develop and implement enabling processes and technologies that drive consistent practices, productivity, and increased performance across NISHAN

  • Direct and support the consistent implementation of company and departmental initiatives

  • Collaborate cross functionally with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to optimize go to market strategies for new and existing products

  • Manage territory planning and business development efforts to quickly scale and maximize sales success, including developing commercial support tools and partnering with internal stakeholders

  • Serve as strategic partner to the VP- NISHAN Governance & Business Support and other departmental leaders in developing department wide strategies, campaigns, and work streams to benefit overall achievement of annual growth targets

  • Collaborate with commercial leadership and peers to identify opportunities that accelerate growth delivery of our strategy and vision

  • Design, build, and execute the programs and processes needed to help scale our sales and client service operations

  • Translate strategy into digestible action plans to drive annual performance and growth while ensuring efficient and compliant client and commercial processes

  • Development, implement | train, and maintain all commercial policies and playbooks e.g., Sales Policies, Sales | Account Management | Sales Leader Playbooks, in collaboration with the leaders of the respective areas

  • Evaluate deal economics, commercial terms and conditions, operational requirements, and all other requests outside of market and company terms and conditions

  • Provide guidance to sales and management on financial implications of policy exceptions e.g., extended payment terms, FX exceptions, client commissions, etc.
