Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Lead Management
• Attend to and follow up with leads from social media, email inquiries, and other sources.
• Schedule, coordinate, and attend meetings with prospective clients.
• Liaise with clients to collect required data, documents, and information related to IP, AML, and Contract assignments.
• Provide clients with regular updates on the status of their applications and compliance processes.
Legal Execution & Coordination
• Draft, prepare, and file applications for:
o Trademarks, Patents, and Copyrights.
o goAML registration and related filings.
o Commercial Contracts (as and when this division is activated).
• Coordinate with internal teams, including Team Leads, for vetting and finalisation of legal drafts and filings.
• Ensure all legal documentation complies with the applicable UAE laws and regulations.
• Regulatory Research & Updates
• Regularly review official gazettes, regulatory portals, and relevant publications for updates in IP, AML, and commercial laws.
• Summarise and report key updates to the legal team and marketing/content team.
Internal Collaboration & Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of all client communications, applications filed, and statuses.
• Work closely with the business development and marketing teams to support content creation with legal insights and recent regulatory developments.
• Support the development of internal compliance documentation and templates
Desired Candidate Profile
A bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) is mandatory; LLM or specialisation in IP or Corporate Law is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a legal consulting, law firm, or corporate legal role.
• Strong understanding of UAE IP laws, AML regulations, and commercial contracting principles.
• Excellent communication and client handling skills.
• Strong research and drafting abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of legal tech platforms (e.g., goAML portal, IP filing portals) is a plus.
• Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
