Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Handle and coordinate all import activities to guarantee efficient, cost-effective, and compliant shipment processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and compare freight quotations; recommend best options.
- Book shipments and follow up on ETAs.
- Coordinate with suppliers, forwarders, and clearing agents until goods are received.
- Ensure proper shipping documentation and insurance coverage.
- Report schedule changes and maintain shipping logs.
- Prepare shipping files for Accounting.
- Track and analyze shipping, clearing, and customs costs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
- 1 2 years of experience in import/logistics.
- Knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and freight modes.
- Strong organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
