Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize the preventive maintenance programs for all equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing technical guidance, performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting, cost control, and procurement of necessary parts and supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures, guaranteeing a safe working environment and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Troubleshoot complex equipment failures, utilizing diagnostic tools and technical expertise to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain detailed maintenance records, including work orders, equipment history, and performance metrics, for accurate tracking and analysis.
- Evaluate and recommend equipment upgrades or replacements, considering factors such as performance, cost, and technological advancements.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities, identifying potential issues and proactively addressing them to prevent breakdowns.
- Stay current with industry best practices, new technologies, and training opportunities to enhance the maintenance team's skills and knowledge.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of various equipment types including but not limited to CNC machines, PLCs, and robotics.
- Has a proven track record of successfully managing maintenance teams and projects, with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Demonstrates excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on data-driven solutions.
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with all levels of the organization.
- Shows a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Exhibits physical stamina and ability to work in various industrial environments, with the capacity to lift and move equipment components.
