Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose
Responsible for managing and technical deliveries of assigned initiatives under Payments Technologies portfolio as per defined parameters related to scope, costs, timelines & quality.
Key Responsibilities
- To manage specific Payments Solutions and its activities and ensure that resources are available and channelled to produce the planned deliverables on time and within the approved budget.
- To meet with the Project stakeholders in order to discuss matters related to the Projects and provide them with necessary suggestions &; recommendations.
- Ensure proper handover of the project to the respective unit on the successful completion of the projects.
- To ensure all the projects are carried out in a cost-effective manner by complying with the approved budget and providing high customer service to bank staff.
- Familiarity with Agile, SAFe and DevOps methodologies.
- Act as Technical escalation point during go-lives and production incidents as required; deep dive into application, database and infra layers to resolve issues; Guide engineering teams in applying best practices in Java, API, microservices, and database optimization.
- To provide adequate support, guidance & motivation to the team members in order to ensure the achievement of assigned projects.
- Review team performance and deliverables in line with the approved KPI’s to ensure meeting desired objectives.
- All the above accountabilities include but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line Manager.

- Ability to facilitate meetings, conduct effective briefings and presentations.
- Ability to develop consensus, both internally and externally on project related matters.
- Ability to assess technological trends and changes, to foresee risks and develop plans to mitigate them.
- Ability to manage the requests within acceptable time with available resources.
- Ability to identify and define problems and draw valid and effective solutions
- Ability to manage the team and their performance
- Ability to follow strictly, secrecy norms and maintain data confidentiality

· External – Vendors, Consultants, Outsourcing Service Supplier
· Internal – Business Units, IT Units, Audits
Job Description
· Must have hands on experience in implementing banking applications.
· Deep understanding of payment systems-domestic & international clearing systems, message formats (SWIFT, ISO20022, NPSS), and clearing mechanisms
· Guide engineering teams in applying best practices in Java, API, microservices, and database optimization
