Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

Reports directly to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Executive organizes all the marketing activities and initiatives for  the whole resort, conduct market research, carry out promotional campaigns, identify target audiences, evaluate current trends. They are expected to be creative individuals with fantastic communication skills and excellent time management with the ability to multitask across an array of marketing disciplines.

Conditions of Work

While main duties are predominantly carried out in the Sales & Marketing Department Office, work may be required in other areas of the property.

Duties & Responsibilities

·         Create awareness of and develop the brand or experience you’re marketing,

·         Communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships,

·         Develop marketing plans, advertising campaigns, direct marketing initiatives and tactical campaigns driving revenue thru footfall,

·         Support the marketing team in delivering agreed activities set out by your line manager,

·         Source advertising opportunities for above the line and below whilst focusing on through the line all simultaneously,

·         Work closely with in-house or external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts along with other BTL requirements,

·         Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and offline  campaigns

·         Produce creative content, including videos and blog posts

·         Run end to end social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, etc.) to enhance audience engagement,

·         Support in organising  and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions

·         Liaise with designers and printers and organize photo & Video shoots

·         Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials

·         Maintain and update customer databases

·         Conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups

·         Track marketing performance and return on investment and prepare weekly or monthly reports for management

·         Monitor and report on competitor activity

·         Develop strategic marketing initiatives and activities

 

 

·         Organize marketing plans that include print, broadcast and online content

·         Create branded advertising campaigns, and support the marketing and design teams by coordinating and collating content

·         Setup tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities

·         Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities and media coverage

·         Traffic all advertising efforts to appropriate channels

·         Develop all internal communication systems

·         Create, maintain and strengthen the organization’s overall brand through all media avenues

·         Organize and streamline service offerings into user-friendly concepts

·         Manage print contractors and other promotional vendors

  • Any other Ad Hoc duties that maybe assigned from time to time

Desired Candidate Profile

 

 

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field or equivalent commercial experience

  • Minimum 2 - 5 years’ UAE experience in Hospitality and / or sports facilities environment, gained in a similar role, with a proven track record in hotel related industries  is preferred

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and organizational skills (English mandatory, Arabic and advantage)

  • Applicable coordination skills to be able to coordinate and supervise the activities to ensure delivery of optimum services

  • Commercial awareness and business acumen

  • Ability to think strategically

  • Creativity and an eye for details

  • Analytical skills to evaluate marketing campaigns

  • Driven and self-motivated

·         Good analytical/problem solving, quantitative abilities and ability to work under pressure and handle stress

  • Teamwork and the ability to foster good working relationships

  • Influencing and negotiation skills

  • Skills in IT and adept knowledge in all social media platforms (e.g. Twitter, Facebook and Tik tok, Twitter, etc.)

  • Strong knowledge with social media management tools (e.g. Buffer, Hootsuite, MeetEdgar, SocialPilot, Loomly, etc.)

  • Effective professional verbal and written communication

·         Effective professional verbal and written communication skills both in Arabic & English along with solid presentation skills, reporting and documentation skills

  • Foreign language ability is an added advantage
