Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and authorities to support the successful delivery of the project. Responsibilities will include:

• Supervising HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE authority requirements
• Reviewing and approving shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs)
• Conducting site inspections, monitoring daily construction progress, and reporting technical issues or deviations
• Coordinating with MEP teams, BIM coordinators, consultants, and contractors to resolve design and execution challenges
• Managing quality control activities, including issuing and closing NCRs and verifying corrective actions
• Supporting snagging, testing, commissioning, and authority inspections
• Reviewing and approving as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documentation
• Ensuring compliance with HSE plans, safety regulations, and site safety practices
• Supporting BIM-based coordination, clash detection, and use of digital and AI-enabled project tools
• Contributing across the full project lifecycle from execution through commissioning and handover

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8 10 years of relevant site experience on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
• Prior experience on UAE projects is required

Technical Skills

• Proven expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements (DM, DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, Civil Defense)
• Familiarity with international standards such as NFPA and ASHRAE
• Proficiency in Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, Navisworks, and MEP coordination tools
• Experience with BIM-based coordination, digital reporting, and site management tools
