Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Carries out regular routine and breakdown maintenance of Mechanical equipment’s.
- Attend On-Call duty (Round the clock) for any emergency problems related to Mechanical equipment.
- Prepare spare requirement to Foreman & Engineer and withdraw it’s from the stores.
- Assist section foreman & technician in completing combined works.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Min 5 years of similar Experience
Min 8 years Experience in water company/industries and having exposure in the field of maintenance of on pumps.
Having experience in industries and having exposure in the field of maintenance of on pumps i.e. Opening of faulty pumps and replacement of worn out parts and related equipment like dewatering pumps, chlorine booster and sampling pumps, uPVC pipe works etc. in all reservoirs stations and field stations.
Also, maintenance repairs of valves of different types and repairs of mechanical equipment’s of Pumping stations and RO Plant.
Knowledge of the Reservoir Pumping Station Operation Systems & associated equipment’s.
Able to read and understand Mechanical as-built drawings, O & M manuals and procedure.
Should have Qatari driving license.
