Roles & Responsibilities
Our client is a leading FMCG (Food) multinational with expansion plans in the middle east and hence looking to hire their National Key Accounts Manager (Modern Trade)- KSA will be responsible for driving sales growth, profitability, and market share across modern trade channels nationally. This role requires strong expertise in managing relationships with key retailers, negotiating strategic agreements, and ensuring flawless execution of business plans.
Key Responsibilities:-
Strategic Account Management:
- Develop and execute national strategies for modern trade accounts to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers and decision-makers across Saudi Arabia.

Business Planning & Execution:
- Lead annual joint business planning with key accounts, including promotions, pricing, and assortment strategies.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Negotiation & Contracts:
- Negotiate trading terms, contracts, and promotional agreements with national retailers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and profitability guidelines.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure timely execution of plans.
- Coordinate with regional sales teams to align on national strategies and objectives.

Performance Monitoring:
- Track KPIs such as sales growth, market share, and profitability for modern trade accounts.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 8 10 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 5 years in modern trade key account management.
- Proven track record of managing national-level retailers (e.g., Carrefour, Panda, Lulu, Danube, etc.).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and travel as required.
