It was established as the dredging division of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). In 1979, NMDC commenced trading as an autonomous dredging company reporting to its own Board of Directors. Being one of the leaders in the Middle East’s marine industry, NMDC has successfully delivered numerous noteworthy projects across industries, including energy, environment, seaborne trade, tourism, and urban development.
