Description

• Maintain the health, performance, and effective utilization of real-time operational systems, including:
• SCADA applications
• Wide Area Monitoring Systems (WAMS)
• Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS)
• Spot Market applications (MIA, MMS)
• Scheduling and Dispatch applications (EDL, Unit Commitment)
• Remedial Action and RES Forecasting applications
• IT systems (IMS, Defect Management System).
• other existing or future network operation applications
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure full functionality of all applications and follow up on defects until resolution.
• Update, tune, and monitor application systems at the Network Applications Desk to detect network dynamics and ensure optimal system performance
• Utilize the Operator Training Simulator to analyze operational scenarios, conduct system studies, and support the training of Control Engineers
• Perform real-time short-circuit and fault level calculations, stability studies, and contingency analysis using SCADA/EMS tools to recommend optimal operational strategies. Identify operational bottlenecks and propose remedial actions to system operators.
• Support the preparation and issuance of daily, monthly, annual, incident, and ad-hoc operational reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with OETC obligations. Provide support to other teams in generating reports using SCADA, EMS, WAMS, MIA, any other network operation applications and IT systems.
• Supervise real-time Spot Market implementation activities, including data entry, updates, validation, and verification within the Market Interface Application (MIA).
• Ensure compliance with company cybersecurity policies and procedures related to operational and information systems.
• Close audit observations related to network operation application support functions in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Knowledge and Understanding of Asset Management, QHSE Management System and IT Security Standard Requirements according to Integrated Management System (IMS), ISO 55001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 27001 to carry out the assigned duties as per the roles and responsibilities matrix.
