Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research on diverse topics, utilizing legal databases, statutes, and case law to provide comprehensive analysis and actionable insights.
- Draft legal memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to legal writing standards, contributing to the firm's legal strategy.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, providing timely updates on relevant changes and their potential impact on the organization's operations and legal standing.
- Assist in the preparation of legal opinions, advising on complex legal issues, and contributing to the development of legal strategies to mitigate risks.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possess a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a reputable university, demonstrating a strong foundation in legal principles.
Hold a valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction, showcasing professional qualifications and adherence to ethical standards.
Have certifications in legal research tools, highlighting proficiency in utilizing legal databases and resources.
Demonstrate prior experience in legal research, preferably within a law firm, corporate legal department, or government agency, showcasing practical application of legal knowledge.
