Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Role Summary

Ensure reliable, safe operation and maintenance of CNG stations, including compressors, storage, dispensers, and associated mechanical/electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for CNG equipment.
  • Monitor station performance (pressure, flow, availability, alarms) and respond to breakdowns.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues on compressors, valves, and piping.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for major repairs and warranty support.
  • Ensure all work adheres to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and spares consumption records.
  • Support commissioning of new stations and upgrades.

KPIs

  • Station availability / uptime %.
  • Mean time to repair (MTTR) for breakdowns.
  • Number of repeat failures and safety incidents.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 3–6 years' experience in maintenance of CNG, gas processing, or similar industrial plants.
  • Strong handson skills in rotating equipment, valves, and instrumentation basics.
  • Familiarity with CMMS/maintenance management systems is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work on shifts / oncall for emergencies.
