Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Oracle OTM implementation, enhancement, or upgrade projects.

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements and translate them into OTM functional/technical specifications.
  • Configure key OTM modules, including:
  • Order Management
  • Shipment Planning & Execution
  • Fleet Management
  • Rate Management
  • Freight Settlement & Billing
  • Logistics Network Modelling
  • Develop and maintain workflow agents, rate structures, itineraries, and planning logic.
  • Support integrations between OTM and ERP (Oracle EBS/Oracle Fusion), WMS, TMS, or third-party systems using APIs, XML, REST/SOAP services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to planning, execution, automation agents, and integrations.
  • Prepare solution design documents, test scenarios, training materials, and user manuals.
  • Conduct UAT, SIT, and end-user training sessions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, DBA, integration, ERP, and business users.
  • Ensure performance tuning, system optimization, and best OTM practices.
  • Provide post-go-live support, including root-cause analysis and enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 8+ years hands-on experience with Oracle OTM (Cloud or On-Premise).
  • Strong knowledge of OTM master data, planning logic, order flows, and shipment execution.
  • Experience with:
  • Rate maintenance
  • Planning parameters
  • Network routing
  • Service provider setup
  • Compliance & tracking
  • Deep understanding of transportation industry processes: FTL, LTL, parcel, drayage, multimodal, last-mile, etc.

Technical Skills (for Tech/Techno-Functional profiles)

  • Strong hands-on experience in:
    • OTM Integration Manager (IM)
    • XML/XSD, SQL, PL/SQL
    • OTM Automation Agents
    • REST/SOAP Web Services
    • BPEL, SOA, OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud)
  • Experience with OTM extensions, screen sets, manager layouts, workflows, and custom logic.

General Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and lead workshops with business stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile/Waterfall delivery environments.

Preferred (Good to Have)

  • Experience in OTM Cloud implementation.
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP (EBS/Fusion) Order Management or Supply Chain modules.
  • Experience with GTM (Global Trade Management).
  • Experience in large-scale logistics operations.
  • OTM Certification (optional but preferred).
